Pastor, Strict Congregational Church, Haddam, Connecticut, 1839-1846, South Church, Malden, Massachusetts, 1747-1750, Mather’s Church, Halifax, Nova Scoti, Canada, 1750-1754. Changed beliefs, ordained to ministry Protestant Episcopal Church by Bishop of London, 1754. Missionary Society for Propagation of Gospel, 1754-1757.

Appointed pastor at New Castle, Delaware, 1757, became ill, died before taking charge.
