A product of Canberra Football Club youth academy, Evans signed a professional contract with Hong Kong Premier League club Tai Po in September 2014. He made his debut a few days later against Kitchee.
In January 2015 Aaron transferred to Kamphaeng Phet Football Club in the Thailand Regional league. He debuted for the club at the start of the 2015 season in February where he has established himself as a first team player.
From U11 to U15 was selected in the Capital Football Academy playing squads and participated in the Premier League competition.
Football scholarship with the ACT Academy of Sports for 2 years. During his scholarship Aaron toured Europe and Asia training and playing.
Countries toured include England, Germany, Holland and China.
Joined Canberra Football Club in 2011 and played in 10 Premier League games as a 16 year old. In June of the 2011 season, Aaron travelled to Croatia and trained with Dinamo Zagreb for two weeks before playing with Canberra Football Club in the Croatian Club World Cup where they finished as runners up.
2012 played 21 Premier League games (17 year old).
2013 played 16 Premier League games (18 year old).
2014 played 18 Premier League games before signing for Wofoo Tai Po Football Club.
During his time at Canberra Football Club, Aaron also trained with A League teams Central Coast Mariners and Adelaide United.
Also spent a short period training with Sydney Olympic in the NSW Premier League.
Played games against Boca Juniors, Botafoga, Estudiantes. Also participated in two day training camps at Boca Juniors and Botafoga.
Whilst a member of the Academy squads Aaron was selected to participate in the U14 and U15 Boys National Football Championships in Coffs Harbour. In January 2013 selected to participate in a 3-week tour of Brazil and Argentina as a member of the Australian U/19 Schoolboys squad.
