In 1992-1993 he took a hat-trick for the Otago against Canterbury in Dunedin. Gale plays semi regularly for OBCC Presidents side in the Christchurch Metro completion. His most recent outing was a 2 wicket bag in the OBCC narrow loss to LPW. He of course pulled a muscle in his last over and won"t play for the rest of the season.
