Murphy can also play in the centre, or on the wing. He has also been tipped by coach John Kear to make the England squad for the mid-season test again France.

Achievements

• Aaron Murphy's preferred position is fullback, and in 2010 after an injury to first choice fullback Matt Blaymire, Murphy managed to hold down a regular first team place.
