He is wearing the number 10 shirt. He is not related to fellow Lebanese football player and First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Ahed player, Abbas Ali Atwi, or simply as Onika. Atwi started his career for First Rate (at Lloyd's) Nijmeh in the 1997/98 season, and he is still with the team
He made his debut for the Lebanon national football team in a 2004 AFC Asian Cup qualifying match against Jordan on 17 October 2003.
He appeared in eight qualifying matches for the 2010. He began to play in 2002 for Lebanon in the match against Jordan.
