Career
He represented Egypt in the 1936 Summer Olympics, scoring Egypt"s only goal in the tournament. This goal was scored on 5 August 1936, when he was just 15 years and 113 days old. This made him the youngest international goalscorer ever, a record which stood until the year 2000.
He also represented his country in the 1948 Summer Olympics.
