Career
Since 3 January 2012, he holds the position of Minister of Industry, Trade & New Technologies in Abdelilah Benkirane"s cabinet. Since 2002 he serves as Member of Parliament for Salé (re-elected in 2007, 2011) and is a professor at the Hassan II Institute of Agronomy in Rabat, from which he graduated, since 1986.
