Career
He was elected in the 2004 election and re-elected in 2008. He did not re-contest his seat in the 2013 election. Before his election to the federal Parliament, Abdul Halim was the Deputy Chief Minister of the Proceedings of the Aristotelian Society-controlled state of Kelantan.
