Career
Since 2008 he has been a deputy minister in the Barisan Nasional government. Abdul Rahim was elected to federal Parliament in the 2004 election. In April 2008, he was appointed as Deputy Foreign Minister, and was moved to Deputy Minister for Transport in April 2009.
He moved again, to the deputy defence ministry, after the 2013 election.
