He came to Tokyo and selftutored himself in oil painting. He was a founding member of the Bijutsu Bunka Kyokai (Art Association) (1939), resided in the Philippines (1941-47), exhibited his paintings in America after the war. His paintings are said to be ultra-modernistic.
