Career
Together with Jurozaemon Mizuno, another Tokugawa retainer, he organized the notorious Shiratsuka-gumi, (White-Hilt Band), a group of rowdy samurai who stalked the streets of Yedo and engaged in a feud with townsmen of the Shogun's capital. He was killed as a result of the feud.
