Commander United States Ship Gregory, 1918-1919, United States Ship Bushnell, 1933-1935, United States Ship Chicago, 1938-1939.

Director officer of personnel, bureau of Navigation, Navy Department, 1940. Assistant chief, bureau of Navigation, since 1940. Received Victory medal (with convoy clasp), 1917.

2d Nicaraguan Campaign medal, 1928.
