Educated in state of Sonora j m. Aida S. de Rodriguez. Second captain in the Revolutionary Army, 1913.
Later raised to rank of It. colonel and general of division. Has taken part in various military expeditions in Baja California, Sinaloa, Sonora, Coahuila, Guanajuato, Tehuantepec, first against Huerta, later against the partisans of Villa, and against rebel Yakis in Sonora. Governor of northern district, Baja California, 1924-1928.
Minister of industry, commerce, and labor. Minister of war and navy. President of Mexico, 193234.
