She was crowned as Mission Earth United States 2001. She competed in the first edition of the international beauty pageant produced by Carousel Productions, where she was one of the semifinalists. Royce, from California, was selected and crowned Mission Earth United States 2001.
She went to represent the United States in the first edition of Mission Earth beauty pageant, where the final coronation night was held on October 28, 2001 at the University of the Philippines Theater in Quezon City, Philippines.
The delegates were first trimmed down to 10 in the semi-final portion, which included Royce.
