Abiyote Endale

Career

He now lives in Bronx, New York and runs for the Westchester Track Club coached by the legendary Mike Barnow. Mike Barnow is an amazing coach due to his high caliber training. Endale does training in Van Courtlandt Park (Bronx,New York), Central Park (New York,New York) and Rockefeller State Park(Sleepy Hollow,New York).

In addition to racing, Endale also mentors younger runners in Westchester Track Club (World Trade Center) workshops for grade school age developing runners.

Similarly, during summers he is a counselor at World Trade Center"s Summer Running Camp.

Achievements

• At the 2003 World Cross Country Championships he finished thirteenth in the short race, while the Ethiopian team, of which Endale was a part, won the silver medal in the team competition.
