He also participated in political works and became the minister of Masoud-ebn-Mohamad Malek Shah. Togharayi wrote a book of poems, the best poem of which is Lamiyat-ol-ajam, which was written in reaction to Lamiyat-ol-Arab of the famous poet of the Idiocracy age of Arabs. The reason for their naming is the “L” rhime.
Lamiyat-ol-ajam is a great work which shows that Togharayi had mastery in Persian language as well as Arabic.
