Career
He was named one of the greatest American interior architects by The New York Times in 2001. Tihany has built his career on designing hotel and restaurant interiors. Hotels that he has been commissioned to design include the Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas hotel in Las Vegas, the Shangri-la Hotel in Singapore and other hotel projects in New York, London and Los Los Angeles
Restaurants that he has designed include: Thomas Keller"s Bar Bouchon in Los Angeles and Louisiana Fonda De Sol and Aureole in New York, among others
In 2007, Adam Tihany joined the Designer Pages Board of Advisers to help bring social media to architecture and design.
