He is currently contracted to Norwegian minnows Eidsvold Turn. He is the only player in the Somalia national football team to have scored more than 30 goals. He joined Asker in mid-2012 from Nybergsund, where he had played for half a year.
Ahead of the 2014 season he rejoined Eidsvold Turn.
