Traveled in Germany, France and England and for the most part stayed in Vienna, 1921-1929. Did black and white drawings and lithography entirely until 1937, later watercolors and oils. Represented in Metropolitan Museum, Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum, Brooklyn Museum, New York (City) Public Library, Library of Congress, Boston Museum, Minneapolis Museum, Honolulu Museum, Albertina Museum, Vienna, British Museum, et cetera
Served with United States Army, 1918-1919. Member American Water color Society, Society American Graphic Artists, Century Association. Member National Institute Arts and Letters.
