Career
Born in Poland, Zytogorski was a political refugee after the collapse of the Polish–Russian War in 1830-1831 (November Uprising). He emigrated to England. Zytogorski was befriended by the late Robert Brien, who succeeded Staunton as an editor of The Chronicle in 1854-1856.
And Brien, after his quarrel with Staunton, published for the first time the particulars of the above match.
Zytogorski died at age 75 in The German Hospital, Dalston, London.
