1925-1932 lit director, Leningrad Young Workers’ Theater. 1933-1936 lit director, Maly Opera Theater. Also worked at Kiev Opera and Ballet Theater.
1928-1937 artistic director, Soviet Film Studios, Leningrad. From 1918 worked as critic. Arrested by State Security organs.
