She competed at Mission Teen United States of America 2003, held at Palm Springs, California. Diaz graduated from Stuyvesant High School in 2002 and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University, majoring in Public and International Affairs. She has received master"s degrees from Paris" Science Po (Institut d"Etudes Politiques) and Columbia University"s School of International and Public Affairs.
Adriana currently works for Columbia Broadcasting System News in the network"s Chicago bureau.
Previously she worked for Columbia Broadcasting System News as a digital journalist in the network"s headquarters in New York City. Previously Adriana worked for Channel One News, a youth-oriented news program broadcast in 8,000 high schools and middle schools across the country.
Born to Dominican immigrants, Diaz won the Mission New York United States of America 2006 title in a state pageant held in late 2005. She competed for the title of Mission United States of America in Baltimore, Maryland on April 21, 2006. The pageant was won by Tara Conner of Kentucky. At the age of 17, she also won the title Mission New York Teen United States of America 2003. That pageant was won by Tami Farrell.
