Hsi Afman S. C. received his preliminary education in his native city. He attended Hardoon's College from 1914 to 1921, and received the degree of B.C. He majored in Chinese literature and philosophy. Mr. Hsi entered the Comparative Law School of China, Shanghai in 1921 and received his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1924.
Mr. Hsi served as an assistant in the law office of N. E. Lurton from 1924 to 1926. Arounf 1925 to 1927 he became a president of Postal and Customs College, during this time he wrote a series of English, Postal and Customs books. Mr. Hsi opened his own law office in 1927 and was since engaged in private practice.
