Professor of architecture in the School of Engineering of Guadalajara since 1912. Professor of Castilian literature in the Preparatory School of Jalisco since 1913. Director of the same, 1916— 1920, 1926.
Head of the Department of Secondary and Professional Education of Jalisco, 1920.
Consul of Uruguay since 1924. Member of the Town Council of Guadalajara, 1920.
Delegate of Jalisco to the Congress of Preparatory Schools (Preparatorias), 1927. Professor of Castilian literature in the Summer School of the University of Mexico.
As architect Senior Basave has designed and constructed more than eighty residences and various municipal works including the “Colonia Penal” de Jalisco, considered as the model prison of Mexico.
