QUTUB, Ahmad Hassan was born in 1944 in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

Education

Bachelor of Science (Dairy Science) 1967. Master of Science (Nutrition) 1968. Doctor of Philosophy (Nutrition) 1970.

Career

Director of the Standards and Metrology Department, Ministry of Commerce and Industry 1970-1972. Member of the Executive Bureau of the Arab Organization for Standards and Metrology (ASMO) of the Arab League. Saudi Arabia’s delegate to the General Committee of ASMO.

Member of the Development Committee (DEVCO) of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), of the American Dairy Science Association (ADSA), of the Oklahoma State Alumni Association. Participated in the committees concerned with the formulation of SASO administrative and financial regulations and its organizational structure. Participated in some committees concerned with revising the financial and administrative regulations of ASMO.

Participated in the preparatory committee for the first Arab Standards conference. Director-General of the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO).
