Ahmad tasked his defense cavalry and infantry to Sheikh Ali Salem First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Mubarak First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Sabah in the early 1920s and transferred the command of defense cavalry and infantry to Sheikh Abdullah Jaber First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Abdullah II First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Sabah following the Battle of First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Regeai.
