Aichi Kiichi was born in 1907.
He entered the Finance Ministry, and attended the International Economic Conference in London after serving in England, and France. He was promoted Director of the Banking Bureau of the Finance Ministry (1947). Shortly afterwards, he quit the Ministry. He ran for, and was successfully returned to, the 1950 House of Councilors election on the Liberal Party ticket. He was Minister of International Trade and Industry in the Yoshida Cabinet (1953-1954) and Chief of Cabinet Secretariat in the Kishi Administration
