Career
He was appointed a professor at the Fifth Higher School. He became professor at Kyoto College of Technology and Textile and served until a^re limit, when he became professor emeritus. Later, he became professor at the Shuchi-in University. He is noted as a specialist in heredity rules governing the killifish. Was conferred the Imperial Council of Science award for his heredity study.
Membership
He was a memeber of the Japan Zoology Society and of the Japan Genetics Society.
