Joined Brazilian Army 1928, transferred to Air Force 1941. A pioneer of the Government, air service linking the remote areas of Brazil to provincial capitals, Correio Aereo Nacional (CAN). Has held posts of Director Galvao Air Factory, President National Engines Plant, Director of Air Routes, President Company-ordinating Committee Rio de Janeiro Institute Airport.
Minister of Aeronautics 1974-1979.
