He graduated from Waseda Business School and studied calligraphy under Shundo Nakamura. His works are noted for gracefulness. He also drawn the Yamatoe genre of paintings
Career
After the war's end, he was appointed to the councillorship at the Nitten. He was editor-in-chief of the calligraphic journal 'Tenarai' (Penmanship).
