Member of the famed Loyal League of 47 Ronin of Ako. Served Lord Naganori Asano as stableman. After his lord's hara-kiri, he joined the Loyal League to carry out the vendetta against his lord's enemy, Yoshinaka Kira.
Personality
He figures as a heavy drinker but a strong swordsman in Kabuki plays and stories dealing with the Loyal League.
