Graduated from college in 1909.
Career
Became assistant professor of the Kyoto Higher Technological School after graduating from the college in 1909. He toured various countries of Europe (1934) and was an instructor at the Kyoto College of Technology and Textile. He is noted as a specialist in the textile profession and dyeing works, and is a member of the Cultural Assets Specialized Council and chairman of the textile and dyeing department of the Kyoto Industrial Arts Research Institute.
