Education
Graduated from Otani College, a Buddhist institution maintained by the powerful Shinshu Sect.
Career
A graduate of Otani College, a Buddhist institution maintained by the powerful Shinshu Sect, he was editor-in-chief of the Buddhist magazine, Gan-e, for many years. Known as a scholar on Buddhist literature. He was also Chief Priest of the Meitatsuji Temple in Ishikawa Prefecture.
