He graduated from Medical Department of Kyoto University in 1922.
Career
He served as assistant, lecturer and then an assistant professor at his alma mater and then later became chief of Surgery Department of Dairen Iin in Talien Hospital, Manchuria in 1929. Studied in Europe and America from 1929 till 1931.
Later served successively as professor of Manchuria Medical University, professor and then acting president of Yamaguchi Kenritsu Ika Semmon Gakko (Yamaguchi Prefectural Medical College), director of the hospital attached to the same college, acting president of Yamaguchi Prefectural Medical University, president of Yamaguchi Prefectural Medical College and dean of Preparatory Department of Yamaguchi Prefectural Medical University and thereafter assumed the above-captioned post.
