Career
Akira Miyashiro entered Yokohama Hampu (Sail Canvas Manufacturing) Company in 1919 and became its representative director in 1928. Appointed managing director in 1943 and then president of Nihon Kinzoku Kogyo (Metal Industry) Company in 1944. Meantime served also as director of Toyo Sen-i (Fiber) Company, president of Nihon Senshoku Kikai Kaisha (Japan Dyeing Machinery Company) from 1952 and trustee of Federation of Japan Economic Organizations and Federation of Kanto District Economic Organizations and held various other additional posts with other economic organizations.
