Education
Left Tokyo Academy of Music without graduating (1928). Went to France and studied under I. Lopez.
Career
In 1932 and entered the Shin (New) Symphony Orchestra which later became the NHK Symphony Orchestra. After 15 years' service, he quit the orchestra and became an independent soloist.
