Career
Akira Takahashi entered Japan Life Insurance Company (1929) and served successively as section chief, department director, secretary and branch office manager.
He became permanent supervisor (1928), managing director (1950) and then vice-president (1951) of Olympus Optical Industry Company. Also became vice-president of Tokyo Metals Industry Company (1951).
