Education
He graduated from the Academy of Naval Engineering in 1919 and was commissioned in the following year. He also studied at the Berlin Engineering College and Dresden Engineering College in 1930-1932.
Career
He assumed the directorship of the munitions bureau of the Ministry of Navy in 1945. At the time of war's end, he was Vice-Admiral. After the war's end, he turned to the business world. He was managing director of the Japan Fuel Co. and director of the Myoko Industrial Co.
