Career
His nickname was Pájaro, which is Spanish for "Bird."
He played his one and only major league game on May 16, 1913. He went a disappointing 0–2 at the plate in that game. However, he did make history as he became the first Spanish-born major leaguer.
Cabrera played in the Cuban League from 1901 to 1920 and was elected to the Cuban Baseball Hall of Fame in 1942.
