Al Francis Lacki was born on April 20, 1930, in Manistee; the son of Francis C. Lacki and Stella M. Lacki.
Al Francis Lacki received a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s College in 1962 and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Detroit in 1972.
Al Francis Lacki began his career in 1956 when he became a Roman Catholic priest. In the same year, he was appointed as an associate pastor of the Roman Catholic church in Saginaw Diocese and worked there till 1972. From 1973 to 1976 Lacki was a psychotherapist in marriage and family therapy in Warren and from 1965 to 1979 in Southfield. In 1979 he founded and became a psychotherapist at Marriage Growth Center, Troy.
Al Francis Lacki also was a motivational speaker and guest at retreats, workshops, and seminars. His first book, Staying Connected in your Marriage was published in 1995.
