Alan Chazin is an elite and gifted athlete specializing in running, swimming and other sports. He has competed in over 25 countries around the world. His sports endeavors have raised money for Aids in Africa, elimination of poaching of elephants' ivory, and the continued safety of the mountain gorillas, as well as other human and animal concerns.
While on safari in Africa in 2009, an elephant saved Alan Chazin's life. Alan Chazin returned the favor and has the elephant in a protected environment in Botswana. The elephant's name is Little Alan. He is eleven feet tall and weighs seven tons. Alan Chazin visits Little Alan frequently. Their interaction involves going on safari and other fun playing activities like bathing, mud throwing and water hosing with his trunk. Alan Chazin has taught Little Alan to dance. Little Alan can do a mean samba and a variety of other dances on command.
