Alan Lai Nin GBS, Justice of the Peace is a Hong Kong politician and civil servant who served as the Director-General of the Trade and Industry Department from 1996 to 1999, Commissioner of the Independent Commission Against Corruption from 1999 to 2002 and the Ombudsman of the Office of the Ombudsman from 2009 until his voluntary retirement in 2014,now he is consultant of Independent Police Complaints Committee.
