Career
Alan Milliner played for clubs such as The Gap Football Club and Taringa Rovers in the old XXXX League. At age 20 Alan Milliner retired from playing and took up refereeing full-time and quickly progressed through the ranks. Milliner has refereed A-League National Youth League games, and made his A-League debut in Round 16 of the 2009-2010 A-League season, when Brisbane Roar defeated Wellington Phoenix 4-1 at Suncorp Stadium.
Milliner was added to the Fédération internationale de football association International Referees List in 2014.
