Albert was a teacher at Los Angeles City Schools during the years 1950-1952. Afterward, he became a television engineer at Columbia Broadcasting System-television in Hollywood, California in 1952-1987. Then he worked as a history consultant at Radio Corporation of America in Princeton, New Jersey, at Ampex Museum in Redwood City, and finally in California at the University of California. He finished his career at Los Angeles/ATAS Television Archives in Los Angeles, California, United States.
