  • Achievements include co-inventing continous central artificial kidney system for low cost treatment in centers, also co-inventor automatic artificial kidney system for overnight unattended hemodialysis of patients in homes, and techniques for early diagnosis of cystic fibrosis in children using a nuclear reactor. Formulated dialysis index for prescribing minimum adequate treatment for patients undergoing hemodialysis. Co-inventor, director design and development extracorporeal system for treatment of sickle cell anemia.

    Co-developer computerized wearable insulin pump for diabetics. Patentee systems for stabilization of structures in permafrost, also field of artificial kidney, artificial pancreas, and respiratory diagnostics.
