Revol propaganda in Moscow, Saint St. Petersburg, Yekaterinoslav, Tsaritsyn, Sormovo and Nizhniy Novgorod. Several times arrested. 1908-1911 lived abroad and helped smuggle party lit into Russia.
1912 returned to Saint St. Petersburg and worked for “Pravda”. After 1917 February Revol member, Nizhniy Novgorod Province Russian Social-Democratic Workers ’Party (Bolsheviks) Committee and Presidium member, Nizhniy Novgorod Soviet. Edited Nizhniy Novgorod’s first Bolshevik newspaper "Internatsional".
At time of 1917 October Revol member, Nizhniy Novgorod Military Revol Committee. From 1921 dipl work; 1923-1927 head Schools Section, Agitation and Propaganda Department, Central Committee, All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks).
1938-1956 worked for State Literature Publ House. From 1956 pensioner.
