He is currently the Creative Director of Dollar Shave Club. In the summer of 2010, he received national and international media attention with The Google Job Experiment a social media experiment whereby creative directors at top advertising agencies saw ads directed only to them appearing only when they Googled their own names. In the Spring of 2012, Brownstein launched Mitt-Flops.com, a website that sells flip-flops that display two of Presidential candidate Mitt Romney"s contradictory, flip-flopping statements on a single issue.
