Aleksandr AKOPYAN, USSR Specialist in thermodynamics. Professor, Yerevan Polytechn. Institute, since 1929; full member, Armenian Academy of Sciences, since 1943; Honoured Worker of Science and Technology of Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic since 1940.


AKOPYAN, Aleksandr was born in 1890.


1917 graduated Petrograd Polytechn. Institute.


1921-1929 instructor, Yerevan University. Works deal with general and chemical thermodynamics. Earlier experimental works cover reversible adsorption form gas and vapor mixtures.

Later, more theoretical works deal with basis of second law of thermodynamics.


There is no solid or tangible evidence for God nor a logical argument for God. The existence of God is taken on faith and not by evidence.


Marxism–Leninism as the only truth could not, by its very nature, become outdated.
