From 1899 veterinarian, Spassk Uyezd former local government authority, Ryazan’ Province. 1901 head, Ryazan’ Bacteriological Station. 1903 defended master’s thesis at Warsaw Veterinary Institute.
Head, Veterinary Department, Ryazan’ Province former local government authority Administrator 1911-1912 studied infectious diseases of farm animals in Germany. 1917-1919 head Chair of Epizoology, Don Veterinary Institute, Novocherkassk.
1928-1938 head, Chair of Epizoology, Veterinary Faculty, Moscow Zootech Institute. Also head, Department of Protozoology, All-Union Institute of Experimental Veterinary Sciences. 1906, in cooperation with Ye.I. Martsinovskiy, established causative agent of pyroplasmosis in horses.
1911 discovered causative agent of tupping disease in horses. Studied causes of rabies and epizootic abortion in cattle, et cetera
