1938-1943 Cand of Medical Science. 1950-1960 corresponding member, USSR Academy of Medical Science. 1942 helped develop a vaccine for treating tularemia patients.
Developed an original classification of chronic forms of dysentery. Devised a method of using colloidally dispersed silver sulfathiazole for treating dysentery patients. First in USSR to describe torulosis, listerellosis and Omsk hemorrhagic fever.
Board member, All-Union and Moscow Society of Epidemiologists, Microbiologists and Infectionists.
